Welcome to the official website for Teaneck Comes Together, Inc. (affectionately known as TCT)!
It is with great pleasure that we present this labor of love. TCT is a not-for-profit organization
established to provide fun and informative activities for Teaneck’s teens and their parents.
In planning these events, we take into account the following:
• Teens want to attend events that are safe and fun.
• Teens prefer to attend “Teen Only” social events.
• Teens are more likely to attend events that have been planned by teens.
• Teens are more likely attend informational events if they are coupled with social activities.
• Parents want to attend events that will better equip them to raise their teens.
• Parents will attend events that honor their busy schedules.
• Parents want their teens to attend events that are safe, fun and informative.
TCT leverages the wealth of resources that are available in Teaneck to service its teens.
We have many citizens who are at the top of their fields; we invite them to share their knowledge
and experience with our teens and/or their parents. We reach out to local businesses
(particularly those that are often frequented by our teens) to provide food, giveaways and/or
supplies for TCT events at discounted or no costs. We reach out to local leaders (i.e., town
council, board of education, police department, and community organizations) to participate as
volunteers and/or service providers. TCT has been successful in bringing together many
segments of the Teaneck community (boasting over 100 business and community partners) in
a unique expression of the community’s concern for its young people. It is even more vital today
(when more parents have to work longer, harder hours and teens are left unsupervised) that we
continue these efforts. We at Teaneck Comes Together, Inc. look forward to your support and
participation as we continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth and the community in
which they live.
Sincerely,
