Kasib Powell is a professional athlete with a history of playing in the National Basketball Association and overseas (Greece, Russia, Bosnia and China).

Determined to make a difference in the lives of children, Mr. Powell founded K.P. Youth Foundation, www.kpyouthfoundation.com.  This foundation provides academic support aimed at student-athletes (i.e., free SAT preparatory courses), motivational speaking, and AAU teams. Mr. Powell is a 1999 graduate of Teaneck High School, where he led his team to a Group IV State Championship. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in Health at Texas Tech University, where he played for the legendary Coach Bobby

Knight.
