Teaneck Comes Together, Inc. (TCT)

Andrea Holmes-Thompkins, is a resident of Teaneck, and the mother of two teenage sons, Julian and Jared Thompkins. She is married to Julian Thompkins. Andrea is one of the initial supporters of TEANECK COMES TOGETHER.

 

She is President and CEO of ACE (Andrea’s Communication’s Empire) Media Corp. a Broadcast Media Sales and Marketing firm in New York City founded in 2004.. She is a 25 year veteran media sales and marketing executive. Formerly of WWOR-TV and WNYW-TV NY. ACE has been a sponsor of the TCT events, and supporter of various youth initiatives in the community.

Holmes Thompkins is a producer of the award winning film BLACKOUT, directed by Jeffrey Lamothe, starring Jeffrey Wright and Zoe Saldana which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2007, Also featured during the TEANECK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2007.

 

Andrea, served on the BARACK OBAMA Tri State Finance Committee, and co chaired the Women for BARACK OBAMA event, where Hillary Clinton endorsed then Senator Obama for the Democratic National Party nomination.

 

Andrea is past president of Thomas Jefferson School, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) 2005 – 2007, a previous Board Member for HOPE HOUSE, a non profit organization for unwed teens and their children, Founder of Sensational Sisterhood, mentoring program for girls. She is a member of Community Baptist Church of Englewood.

She is a graduate of Howard University, School of Communications.
